New - are brand new books that have not been owned

Like new - were owned but no broken spine and in perfect condition.

Used - good condition - Are used books that have some marks on them, They may have worn edges or bent covers, and the only writing may be a name inside the cover.

Library Used - were old library books. They will have tags on the spine and stamps in the cover. They may be a little worn but will still be readable and usable.
